is it possible that the Radcliffe was last abbot of the Friary ? - this was not an important house - a deposed abbot would make a useful clerk and there does appear a Radcliffe receiver at Peel sometime after this (his sons it is thought got Knockaloe + Gordon) - the Tyldesleys were linked to Bemaccan where the Friary stood
