Many, many thanks for the 2 photos of the grave which have arrived. They look great and it was quite moving to see the last resting place of one of my own who died 172 years ago. It really is a great service you have provided to me and so many others who do not live on the Isle of Man.

The Manx inscription at the foot of the stone is a real bonus too! Are there any Manx speakers out there who could have a go at translating it if I were to email the photo to them?
