From the MIs you supplied, Donna, I've looked for a John Moore b circa 1725, and I've found a promising one:

John Moor bap 26 Dec 1724 Rus, to Patrick Moor and Katherine Waterson.

It must be my lucky day, because there's a transcribed 1762 will for a Patrick Moor of Bradda

which mentions a son John and a granddaughter Catherine, so it's looking hopeful.

I found 2 burials listed, and I searched the Manx Notebook page for MIs, but couldn't find them.

Please could you see if they're amongst your Rushen MIs, Donna.
