The Scottish merchants came to Douglas about 1620. It was after the Union of the Crowns (date?). The Murrey family were the most noteable were said to come from Broughton in Wigtonshire. There was also an Adam Scott who left descendants. Adam Murrey was naturalised in 1626.
Regarding Ursula, I can only guess it might have been in use as a "posh" alternative to a Gaelic name - surely not Bahie (Bear= Ursus)
