I looked at Mary Cashin nee Killey's census entries from 41 through to 91, but I can't find the thing I jotted the info onto. However, I do recall getting quite exasperated with her for not producing the "born Santon" answer I wanted to see. I think it went like this:

51 (or maybe 61) all the family "born Patrick or German", (can't remember which, because in my mind they're Peel area ) except Mary who mysteriously and unusually was "n.k." which I took to mean not known !

61 or 71 I think one of these said Thomas "born Santon" and Mary "born Pat or Ger", so the enumerator had probably got them in the wrong order.

81 and 91---"born Santon " in both of these, I think.

I'm pretty sure that she's the Mary Killey b 1812, sister of your William.

Donna, please will you see if there are MIs for these two ?

Also, is there an MI nearby for a John Killey and a Mary Killey nee Callow----don't know when they died though.
