Marriage certificate didn't help as parents weren't listed! But! I have found John in West Bromwich in 1851. Could some one from IOM please look at the census for John Neal abt 1824 Lodger in West Bromwich High Street. He is a tailor. His birth place is listed as Isle of man and a place recorded after it. I think it is a soundex of a place on the IOM but I can't work it out. Maybe someone who is familiar with IOM names can help?
