I have just discovered that my gt gt grandfather was born on IoM. I know his name was John and that he was born around 1819. He was living in West Bromwich Staffordshire by the 1841 census and married a local girl. He is listed as a journeyman tailor. I have never visited IoM and don't know where to begin looking. Any one got any suggestions? At various times the name changes from Neale to Neal, could it have one time been Kneale? Help!!
