Could someone going to the Museum please check a letter for me.
This letter commences on page 96 and continues on page 97; it is from the Lietenant Governor of the Island to Whitehall (or The Home Department) and is in connection with the imminent transportation of Sarah LYNCHEY to OZZ. She had requested permission to take 3 children with her and at the botton of page 96 it refers to them being "..named in the margin..". The date on the letter at the head of page 96 is "Whitehall March 21 1835"
I had paid the museum to copy 2 date identified letters but after a number attempts in which they were unable to forward the nominated letters I think they have given up.
I only seek the childrens' names, if they are recorded.
