First used as an elementary school but classed as a Higher
Grade School.1894 opened as Secondary School until
1919 when it became Eastern District Secondary School
until 1929 when it became Douglas High School for Girls.
All Schools were in the Park Road site & it is now
the lower school [11---13years] of a mixed school ---
[11---18years ] St Ninians High School.
