'Horse Gareys' on 1851 Census, Malew

This place name interests me a lot and I was wondering what the term meant?
I thought that I had found 'Gareys' as low-lying-marshes, but have not been able to bring that up on screen again.

On the 1851 Census for Malew, my Gt.Grandparents Richard CORRIN & Mary KEWLEY are living at household 69, Horse Gareys, Malew - the same address noted for the adjoining households (68 & 70), all shown as Ag. Labourers. Could the dwellings have been labourers' cottages, do you think?

The adjoining farm of 30 acres looks like William QUINE, Ballakeown - (and this could possibly be the 'Kewins - Ballakewin, Malew' as shown on Manx Note Book)
Perhaps the labourers worked on this farm.

Any opinions greatly appreciated.
