Dear Ms. Coakley,
I have been in the ELECTRONIC COMPENDIUM, again, and of course the wealth of information is formidable. I GO THERE MOST FREQUENTLY AND I FIND SOMETHING EACH TIME THAT HELPS ME OR GIVES ME INSIGHT TO HOW THE MANX PEOPLE BELIEVED, LIVED, PLAYED, THE HIERARCHY OF CHURCH, THE QUAKER INVASION, WILLS, ETC, ETC, ETC, OF MANX LIFE, do wish you could compile this entire compendium in book form. I have read so much of it, but have miles to go to finish all your transcribing of history of the Isle, it is almost mind-boggling to consume it , you must almost go there every day, which I have been of late, when I have my QUIET TIME, I still do work legal, for an attorney, contract work, so I do make my own hours, but the wealth of information is phantomless.
What an honor indeed I do see now, to have had you work on my ADAM CAIN, you are a most notable board researcher, but you are well educated in the sciences of the arts in history and language. I am still awaitnig paperwork for ADAM CAIN. I have learned so much about MANX WAYS, I now can understand, perhaps why PATRICK CAIN AND ELINOR CLARKE, left the Isle, FREEDOM of owership of lands in AMERICA, I AM SURE MUST HAVE BEEN THEIR reason, for the strictness of religion to tithes of all your goods, from herring to corn, was indeed a LORD-SERF, way of life, and having to attend worship out of mandatory law and not from the heart, would seem no FREEDOM OF RELIGION attoll. I am reading as much as I can each day, I am writing to get the MANX LANUGAGE BOOK, to see if perhaps the language that my grandmother spoke is in there, for I stated many words she spoke we never knew what they meant. Well, I do honor you and now moreso , as see your works for the Isle, apparently you are a Manx decendant, your works needs publishing, if, surely if there is copyright problems from gleaned infomation, I could see where publishing may be a problem, but to make use for references giving credits as you have done to those who were contributors , with their permission would perhaps take care of that problem. Even so, I am glad you chose to the ELECTRONIC COMPENDIUM for it is a GOLD MINE of history of the Isle and Manx peoples.
Again, I must commend you and honor your works.
Kindly yours,
Mrs. Jonnie Ruth Rosa
