In loving memory of JOHN MORRISON of Peel who died 5th Aug 1883 aged 90 years
also SARAH wife of the above died 29th Jan 1859 aged 37 years
also WALTER son of the above died 14th Feb 1856 aged 4 years and 5 months
also MERETTA daughter of the above died 3rd Dec 1932 aged 84 years
also EDITH MARION MORRISON died Oct 1936 aged 55 years

This HARDLY begins to summarize this fascinating story.

I only have the 1861 and 1871 census indexes but it appears John married an Irish young woman named Elizabeth Mone who was 21 in 1861 and apparently mother of Maria 2mo old, gone in 1871 but 2 more young ones Celiha 3 & Elizabeth 5. Another curious thing in 1861 & 1871 -- an Andreas connection in '61 Walter age 4 was living in Andreas 2 76 and in '71 Lilly 14 & Martha 22 were living in Andreas 4 61--that's the trouble with an index I don't know who else was there--Walter 12 in '71 was back with John in Peel.
Maybe someone with ancestry can tell us more.
