Re: Ballaugh Parish
In Response To: Re: Ballaugh Parish ()

Dear David R.,

I was following your thread with Ms. Mary, and saw that Thomas Corlett owned land and you were showing Ms. Mary the land plots of his ownership. In my line there is a Thomas Corlett of Ballaugh Parish, his daughter (1) ANNE CORLETT married Adam Cain, Anne Corlett born October 02,1681 in KK Ballaugh ( BAPTISMAL DATE), died September 12, 1738 in KK Ballaugh Parish, ISLE OF MAN (DTE OF NON-CUPERATIVE WILL) married ADAM CAIN ABT. 1700 IN KK MICHAEL PARISH. child (2) Gilbert Corlett,
John Cain, born March 09,1640/41 in KK Ballaugh was the son OF Patrick Cain ,his children,(1) Adam Cain, born March 15,1669/70 in KK Michael Parish (2) Patrick Cain, born August 7, 1672 in KK M ichael Parish (BAPTISMAL DATE).

Ms. Coakley. has found an Adam Cain married to an Elinor Stoen, who had twins. But what I am looking for here, is this the same THOMAS CORLETT, father of Anne Corlett, who married Adam Cain, owner of this properties, you did not state years of ownership of these properties, could you give the yeas and did he leave any land to his heirs, if so if this is the same THOMAS CORLETT, where would I find out if ANNE CORLETT's father, Thomas Corlett did leave a will with her inheritance in it, I know you and Ms. Mary are discussing mapping, but when I saw this I thought it could be a vein to find out if this is OUR Anne Corlett's father.

If you could find anything atoll about theTWO, IF they are the same, THOMAS CORLETT'S, would you please respond back, also, how would I find out if worship services are being held in the OLD BALLAUGH church that has the leaning gate pillars, it's called THE CRONK, I believe, Iwould like to attend worship there when we visit in May.

I know I have asked for alot, shall be grateful for any information you may find, do not go out of your present search for Ms. Mary, but if you have the spare time I would appreciate your help in this.

Thank you kindly.

Mrs.Jonnie Ruth Rosa
