Re: William Kinrade
In Response To: Re: William Kinrade ()

Ah, yes, now I see.

There seem to be at least 3 William Kinrades in the time period as candidates
William Kinrade ch 20 SEP 1789 Onchan
Father Stephen Lewin
Mother Elinor Kinrade

It doesn't appear that these two ever married or had additional children, but who knows

There are probably numerous candidates for Elinor Kinrade but one stands out to me--
Elinor ch 10 AUG 1766 Onchan
Father Philip Kinread
Mother Anne Kelly

I don't want to get into trouble with the Lewin researchers but there only seems to be one Stephen Lewin in this period
Stephen ch 25 JAN 1767 Onchan
Father Robert Lewin

William ch 23 MAR 1794 Maughold
Father Daniel Kinrade
Mother Mary Creetch
They md 12 Feb 1793
Daniel is buried at age 70 in Maughold 10 Feb 1838
Wm was first born, other children Daniel 1795, John 1797, Mary 1800

William ch 23 Nov 1794 Bride
Father Mathias Kinrade
Mother Jane Mc Kissack
md 30 Nov 1775 Bride
William was first son, 4th child
Eliz 1795, Cath 1788, Jane 1792, Cath & Anne1800,

Mathias buried 17 Oct 1824 Bride
Jane buried 16 Oct 1830 Bride

Of course it will take a lot of digging to figure this out.
There are at least 6 marriages of William Kinrade in this time frame
with the one we are most interest to Elizabeth Lord 1 Mar 1812 German

Just guessing I would probably put my money on our Bride fellow being the groom of Margaret Cottier 29 Oct 1812 in Bride

and our Maughold fellow being the groom of Ann Creed 8 Dec 1816 in Maughold

Be interesting to follow this series of posts.

For those interested.
The above Jane Kissack hails from the German Gilbert MacKissack/Ann Quayle lineage and her husband Mathias Kinrade from the
Ewan Kinrade/Elizabeth Cottier lineage of Lezayre
