William Kinrade was born ca 1792 at Ballanayre, German. An agricultural labourer, he married firstly Elizabeth Lord, some 15 years his senior, on the 1st of March, 1812, at German and secondly Isabella Cain, some 12 years his junior, on the 14th of March, 1840, at German. William died of smallpox and was buried on the 12th of July, 1852, at Patrick when his age was recorded as 60 years.
The 1841 census shows him living at Ballacooil, German, with his second wife and youngest son. Also living with the family was Elizabeth Christian aged 6 years. In 1851 the faimly was living at Ballanair, German.
