Thanks for your reply. The stones hold a clue in tracing Amelia Kneale. A linked person called Effie Galliard who has since died saw something important on them in tracing our family history whilst visiting the IOM. She returned to investigate further to find they had been removed and the vicar/ minister unable to help. The surnames Kneale, Neale, Galliard, Ware and Hayes are relevant. Amelia had a sister Annie, unsubstantiated family history has it that they were christened in Braddan circa 1835, parents named Ann and Thomas Kneale. On her death cert. Amelia had a middle name of Francis, this has led me to Jane Neale and Joseph Ware's daughter Amelia Francis born 1829 in Douglas but there is a difference of about 10 years to most cencus, death and burial recordings of Amelia's birth year.
I hope you can spot something with the stones.
