The Peberdy family showing around 1870 in the Isle of Man came from the Cornwall area. Marybond is Harybond and 1871 has him as Henry B. Peberdy.

The main area for the name is in the middle of England and in particular Leicestershire.

William Owen Roberts married Mary Ann Peberdy 1873 in Billesdon. The family can be seen on line in the 1881 census at Hurst Lodge Ashby Road Sheepshed.

By 1901 the had more children including Richard aged 14.

The difference in the name Pubrose and Pulrose may be significant.
