Can anyone help on this one,

was there a big house that became a childrens hospital in 1950s /1960s,
I have been in touch with adrian and marion about pulrose manor house and marion tells me that manor house was owned by corris the chemist and befor that podmoore, i have emailed lisa , i think it may be in liverpool but when i get photo i may know where it is,,i know there was a peberdy family in isle of man earlier on , but cant find any in 1891 and 1901, they are in england,,, sorry should have said please at top of my message.
