You can't be sure of your ancestry unless you buy some certificates as Lois suggested, to follow the generations back knowing you have accurate details.
Your father's birth cert in 1900 will give his mother's name and maiden name, and your grandfather Joseph Skillicorn's marriage cert should give his father's name and occupation.
You can then confirm details in censuses.
