the MI reading might well be suspect as well - they were transcribed from a poor microfilm of handwritten transcriptions dating from the 1920's (the actual notebook is in the Manx Museum so it should be possible to check - if the stone survived to the 1980's it should be in the IoMFHSoc list) - 1 and 7 easily confused both in handwriting and also on a worn stone.
