Hi, yes, I am STILL here, pestering away! I came across another bit of info in my search for descendants of Molly and Ben Jarvis of Douglas.

Apparently Molly and Ben Jarvis moved to IOM in about the 30's - not the 50's as I originally thought, and I think they might possibly have lived in Port Erin until at least late 30's early 40's. We know my Mum spent her school hols (born 1924) in Port Erin and I now think it was likely spent with Molly and her family. I also know Molly had a daughter Rosina (not sure of spelling) who accidentally died after setting herself alight by playing with matches - prob aged about 6-8 but whether this was before of after their move toIOM is not known.

I have also learnt that Molly had a son George who in later life emigrated to Australia.
