Hello Sandra,
My Carroll's left Ireland prior to the 1861 census (possibly because of the potato famine)
and settled on the Isle of Man.
They had a big family,grandchildren etc,all born here on the Island,but then they seemed to leave,possibly because there wasn't the employment at that time available.
The name 'Hallie' sounds very modern!!
I am hoping someone can fill in the blanks for you.
