I was interested to see in the Ballaugh baptism records for Jan 1808 a Jane dau of Thos. Boddaugh & ---- Corlett. This is crossed out, and replaced by: Jane dau of Thos. Boyde & Jane Corlett. Sort of proves the changeover in the spelling to Boyd(e)...
