Thank you to both Frances and N.G. Crowe (Nigel?). Apparently a lady researching her family history maternally, has documented her tree back to King Mervyn Vryen in 843 A.D...... I am just a bit cynical I admit, but would like to see her sources, however I am grateful to know you both agree the possibility existed of an "Isle of Man of Wales".
