I don't know how many of us have caught the MNH press release regarding a proposal to create a new £Millions centre for Heritage/Genealogy in Douglas. Capt. Quirk who represents the IOMFHS on the Trustees of MNH told us a bit about it at the Society meeting in October. I expect it is years away, especially with the looming reduction in the tax take for foreseeable future.
