Re: locating plots in graveyards

Hi Mary

A few weeks ago Donna posted an MI and plot number for a Robert Gelling who was buried 11th Jan 1807 in Old St Runius. In a separate posting today I've asked for a look up for Robert's wife, Jane nee Kelly, who was buried 19th May 1808, presumably in the same yard.

I can't be absolutely sure that these were my g g g g grandparents ( the parents of Eleanor Gelling bap 9th Sept 1787 in Marown, who subsequently married Thomas Clague on 11th Feb 1804.) There were at least 2 Robert Gelling / Jane Kelly couples producing children in Marown around the 1780s. The "other" Robert Gelling, schoolmaster, died in 1815 and he's definitely not the father of Eleanor.

But I don't know if there was a third Robert G / Jane K who could have been Eleanor's parents.
