Hi Alan.My sister in Canada found a film in the library that she ordered about 3 yrs ago and forgot about as she thought we had all we needed from it, after your message she went and had another look at it and found a birth for Reuben Kermode Gorry in Peel 1905 volume A page 481, I am sending for a copy of the birth certificate tomorrow so I will let you know who his parents were when I get it.
I hope you dont mind me asking but what was Alice Mauds husbands name as I cant find a marriage, also I only have 10 children for James and Eleanor Kermode, those I have are Thomas E,1856,Margaret Ann 1858,Christiana 1865 Eleanor Mary 1868, Alice Maud Mary 1870, James 1874, Amelia Elizabeth 1875, William Frederick 1877,Catherine M 1861,and John 1863.I am not sure but think I found James on a passenger list on the Lucitania bound for New York in 1907 occupation a printer fathers name James Kermode of No 1 Partick St, born 1874 i-o-m wife aged 33 born i-o-m stayed at home , destination Plain Fields New Jersey.Regards Kay.
