Raymond, if you are referring to the same family as your question below, answered at: http://www.isle-of-man.com/cgi-bin/interests/genealogy/bulletin/index.pl?noframes;read=520326 it would be better to put your new query under that same thread, so that people know what information you are basing your question on, and don't do the same research a second time.
In reply to your query about Edward I wrote that because he was underage in 1838, and b.Maughold, the most likely bapt was Edward son of Hugh Christian & Catharine Moore bapt Parish Church 25 Jan 1818, which would have made him aged 20 at his marriage.
Ewan Christian & Catharine Moore married Maughold 28 Dec 1807.
The names Ewan and Hugh were used interchangeably, with Hugh gradually being used instead of Ewan.
Please note that I wrote most likely - not definite - and needs to be confirmed from other sources.
I also don't understand the dates you have given:
"Ewan Christian c1785 of Maughold and Catherine Moore 1787 Maughold.
I am trying to connect a Ewan or Evan Christian born Maughold c 1810 or 20".
Where do these 1785 & c.1785 come from? And why 1810 or 1820?
What information do you have about Ewan or Evan Christian which leads to your question?
