Re: Isabel Callow
In Response To: Re: Isabel Callow ()

Now that I have pulled out the Kermeen files again I find that I have the marriage of John Kermeen (sometimes Kyrmeen) and Isabel Callow as 9 Feb 1739 at Lonan, with the same children as on my previous message and including Joney and Anne.

I have their son James married Margt Lawson with a long line of descendants; son Thomas married Elinor Stole; daur Jane marr. John Kermeen.

I also have a long line of descendants (Tom Kermen's line) from eldest son William b.1711 who married Isabel Callow 5 Aug.1739 in Maughold. These would have come from Constance Radcliffe from land records, and confirmed in wills.

Second son Thomas Kermeen 1714-1744 died "castaway on ye English shore" 27 Jan. 1744 - he was left a lamb in his grandmother's will 1727.

Four children (Ann the eldest bapt 14 Dec.1707 marr. 1734 Thomas Stole; William 1711, Thomas 1714, and Margaret 1719) were baptised, and the younger? three were not (John, Ellinor/Nelly, and Joney) but all were recorded in several family wills.
