I have a couple of Alexander deaths in 1834 and although I dont know I have assumed it was cholera, but who knows..
The son died first:-
ALEXANDER, Henry 12 mos Bradden 20 Mar 1834
and the his Father Hugh aged 30 buried 29/4/1834.
Another son died 1832.
Although Hugh had been born in Braddan the family moved to Liverpool for a period c1808 and some returned, dates I am not sure of but I do know that Hugh married in Liverpool to a Liverpool girl, in I think 1831, and then this branch of the Alexanders moved back to the Isle of Man presumably just after. His widow moved back to Liverpool with a surviving daughter.
