Thank you all for your help and advice; if Frances did marry a "Clarke"- sadly no other details were available- I hope you bear this in mind Mary M. when looking . but that marriage would have been pre 1914 I would think, but when I cannot help you with- good hunting!
If you can find that it will tell me who to look for in the second marriage, but as I know the Groom's name anyway so it should be easier if I went along that route.
