Good Morning Liz, Hope you are feeling better, and may I wish you a Happy New Year- when it comes.
The trouble is I do not know if they married in Peel, I presume so ,as both families lived there at that time. I have a photograph of my Dad in Army uniform with his Mum and two sisters, Frances has a babe in arms. Dad was wounded early in WW1, but went back to the front, so I am sort of guessing the date, using his presence, along with the age of the second child and they were all in Peel for the "formal" photograph.
A contact from Canada thinks that Frances was marrried before to to a "Clarke"- he died and they had no children, I have no way of knowing if this is true, or not.
Without the chance of an entry in an index it is going to be hard to find out anymore. Thanks again for your interesr Liz, I will be in touch soon.
