James Heaney was born in 1902 when Jessie was 16/17 years old. I believe Winnie was born in 1907, and Laura Starkey (Heaney) was born 14/7/1916 - I'm awaiting confirmation via birth certificates. Laura, as we know worked in Douglas for the Misses Clegg, Winnie supposedly worked for a farmer near Ramsey.
I'm fairly sure the Gladys you found can't be the one I'm looking for, because, as far as we know, our Gladys never married. it's doubtful that Gladys worked for the Misses Clegg or relations, because she was 'in service' in Ramsey, I think until she died (whenever that was!)
