He is in the Maughold parish register as John Caley (no "E"). Their marriage has only John Caley & Isabella Corkill married 7 Mar 1835 - too early to show fathers' names, residences, and occupations.
Bapts have:
Isab [daur of] John Caley/ Isab Corkill [bapt] Parish Church 7 Jun 1835
John John Caley/ Isab Corkill Parish Church 22 Jan 1843
Esther Ann John Caley/ Isab Corkill Parish Church 29 Mar 1846
Paul John Caley/ Isab Corkill Parish Church 14 Jan 1849
Mary Ann John Caley/ Isab Corkill Parish Church 1 May 1853
William John Caley/ Isabella Parish Church 17 Nov 1850.
There were two other John Caley and wife Isabella Corkill having children bapt in Maughold (earlier), which makes the entries confusing.
Where did you get the children's names from?
("seven children, John, Paul, William, Isobella, Ellinor, Catherine, and Esther")
The 1841 Maughold census has:
1 12 54 Port-e-Vullen Village
Isabella CALEY 25 Ag lab Isle of Man
Elinor CALEY 3 Isle of Man
Cathrine CALEY 1 Isle of Man
Isabella CALEY 6 Isle of Man
- which looks as though it should be them.
Cath Jane daur of John Caley & Cath (sic?) Corkill bapt Parish Church 17 Nov 1839?
Elinor daur of John Caley & Elinor (sic?) Corkill bapt Parish Church 28 Jan 1838?
It looks as though the parish clerk was thoroughly confused with all the Corkills, unless the above two did have different mothers but were living with Isabella in 1841.
In 1861:
1 92 Port E Vullin
John CALEY Head WID 66 Tailor Maughold
Kate CALEY Daughter UNM 20 Maughold
William CALEY Son 10 Scholar Maughold
Margaret CALEY Daughter 8 Scholar Maughold
Also unsure, although Kate/Catherine and William look right. But what about Margaret?
