I have been interested in searching for my roots in the IOM. My grandfather was Stephen Arthur Christian, born on September 17, 1881 in Glen Rushen. He moved to Fosedale at age of 10. He had brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Jeramaiah, Matthew, Ephrem, William Arthur, Fredrick Arthur, James Arthur, Elizabeth and Margueret. I believe that his fathers name was either Thomas or Arthur. Mothers name could have been Eleanor. Maiden name unknown.
