I read Brenda Metrows message re the Callin name. My father is William Laurence Corkill-Callin and I know that he has some connection with the IOM and he has two uncles in Calgary but that is all I really know as he has no surviving family that we are aware of. His father was Laurence Corkill-Callin and his mother Gwendoline Gray. When his father died she married a man called Bucket and moved to Canada. My father was born in Limerick we think and raised in northern ireland. Any help you can give on the family background would be fantastic.

My father is married to Jennifer Allison and they had two children myself and my brother John. I am married to an Earls and my brother a Gibson who is a descendant of the Bradford family which I think is another IOM connection. My mother, Jennifer, is also a descendant of the Bradford line!
