Dear Ms. Fox,
I do not have those names in my line, but I shall tell how ironic that your post is, as we were in Leicester, and this was another one of the strange happenings, for we had many after the raven at the church steeple at St. Saviours , we were downtown, after my mum's fall, went on day trip downtown Leicester to take a break before we were to leave for the USA, and we went to a quaint foodery called CRUSTY'S in the Leicester Market area, and who should walk in by chance, but her old school chum, he said, he thought we had already went across the pond, we said we have one day left, we could not go due to mum's fall, the lady at the bed and breakfast took care of her while we took our last moments in England, I was quite ill due to not going, he said, then let me take you on a tour of Leicester to parts no one has been too, for this man is almost 80, as we are in our late 50's, so he took us on a wonderful tour, the first place he took was the Leicester Cathederal, and low and behold, but what shall I see but a tombstone with a CAIN name, it was so ironic, I was not able to get to the Isle of Man, yet by the providence of unknown, I got to see a Cain anyway, his tombstone, and it was, now are you ready, you asked about a Frederick, well, I have no Frederick in our line, but the name on the tombstone, was FREDERICK KILBURN CAIN, how unbelieveable, and at the foot of his tombstone, I saw something shining, and then my husband saw it, and we dug and it was an old TWO PENCE, and I told my husband, this is an omen, that we would have many return visits and that this was just the beginning of our journey home. So, in that church yard near a lovely old tree, stands the tombstone, of course he is not from the Isle of Man and not in my line, that I presently have, unless it is part of line that left the Isle , I CAN SCAN YOU THE PICTURE IF YOU LIKE, but your FREDERICK was not a CAIN, it was your NANCY, my Nancy was my grandmother, NANCY ANN ALJIFAIR CAIN, born in AMERICA off of NATHANIEL CAIN AND CELIA GRUBS CAIN, and he was off, of JOHN CAIN, who was off of PATRICK CAIN, ISLE OF MAN, WHO HAS A TWIN, PHILIP CAIN who died in infancy, who was off of ADAM CAIN. So if you have any of PATRICK CAIN, who married ELINOR CLARKE, and ADAM CAIN, who married ANNE CORLETT,
Then perhaps you are in my line, so many of the Isle of Man families intermarried. So it is a twist of twine, they all have roots entwined together, well dear, I must go, have enjoyed posting to you, and please write back, and any Cains who shall desire to write to me at my e-mail address, joeds9@barnwellsc.com. Have a wonderful night.
Sincerly yours,
Mrs. Johniie Rosa
