BOOK page 23 Row E #38: In memory of Robert Quayle who departed this
life the 26th of March 1845 aged 60 years. Also Elizabeth wife of the
above who departed this life the 17th of March 1861 aged 73 years.

To the worshipful Thomas A. Corlett Eq:Vicar General
The humble petition of Elizabeth Quayle of Michael
Sheweth - That your petrs husband Robert Quayle late sumner of Michael
departed this life about a month ago intestate. That your petr is
desirous that she or some other fit and proper person be sworn and
appointed to administer in the said estate as there are several things in
a perishable state. Wherefore she prays a hearing of this petition and
that she or some other person be lawfully appointed in the premises and
your petr will pray Wlizth Quayle April 21st 1845
ordered this tis petition do come in to be heard at Ramsey on Monday
next whereof all parties to have due notice - given this 24th April 1845

At an Eccl Court held in Ramsey the 28th Aprpil 1845
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties it appears Robt
Quayle late of Michael some time ago departed this life intestate leaving
the petitioner his widow and Robert Joseph Quayle, Eliza Quayle,
Christian Louisa Quayle, Wm Frederick Quayle and John Thos Quayle his
children and next of kin all of whom are decreed joint administrator of
all and singular the goods rights credits chattels and effects of the
decedant and the petitioner Elizth Quayle is sworn in trust well and
turly to administer the estate and effects of the said decaedant to pay
all just debts and funeral expenses so far forth as the goods will extend
and the law bind her and to return to the Episcopal Registry a full true
and accourate account of all her acts and proceedings in the premises
when there unto lawfully required and to these ends she has given
pledtes namely John Redden of Michael and Wm Quine of Ramsey who
have extend into a bond in presence of the court in due form of law.
Decretum est T. A. Corlett
Pursuant to an order of the worshipful Vicar General Corlett granted on
the petition of Elizth Quayle I have served John Thomas Quayle one of the
next of kin with the said petition and charged him to appear before his
worship at a court to be holden at Ramsey on Monday next when called to
answer this suit of the petitioner this 24th day of April 1845.
