I am descended from John Cottier (1731-1823) and Catherine Lace (1741-March 12, 1830) via their son John (1771-1849) and Catherine Callow (c. 1796-c. 1885) and grandson Thomas (February 3, 1829-1899) and Minerva Beeler (March 1, 1824-1898). Thomas emigrated to the United States (Missouri), probably about 1848, where he met and married his wife.
