It's great to have BB members on the job. One note of caution though:

My Grandfather was illegitimate. On his marriage certificate both the name of his father and the name of his mother were incorrectly stated.

His father William CONRAD (sic) was in fact William Henry (Henry) KINRADE
His mother Annie PRINCE was in fact Margaret Ann CALLOW (m1 CLYDESDALE, m2 PRINCE)

It took many years to unravel the facts.

The father's identity can be somewhat lost over time or amended (deliberately or inadvertantly) by family mythology. Let's hope it is more straightforward for Wm MOORE

Also. I have come across an instance where "Miner" was mistaken for "Mariner".
