Frances, When I said I could not find Philip in any Wills to date, I might have mislead you.
I am a complete amateur at reading Wills and the Wills I have looked at were all in the Manx Notebook index to wills. I could not really understand most of them, or know how to tie people in to them. I think looking at Donna's reply that I am on th wrong track, and I must have misread Fayle for Quayle, my mind or eyesight is'nt as clear at 72 as it was(excuse) I have been trying to clear this for 18mths, I know that is'nt a long time in Geneology searching, and probably by your standard. Do you think it might help if I join the Manx Family History Society. I hope you make sense of all this.
