Thanks for the information, Diane. It sounds very useful as an alternative to Ancestry.com.
- Especially in having all the IOM censuses together. I'm assuming that they digitised the sections from the microfiche.
How many CDs did you end up with for the 7 censuses? And how have you found the clarity in reading the 1841 census, which was written in pencil? In the "old days" the PRO used to let us look at the original volumes if the filmed copy was unreadable - which it often was. But I think the microfiche copies were better when they changed over to them.
