Can any one help? I am currently researching soldiers on Madeley's (shropshire) War memorial and Sergeant 2211 William Henry WARD of the King's shropshire Light Infnatry, who died on 25th October 1915 was buried in a Commonwealth War Grave Site in Kirk Christ Lezayre (Holy Trinity) churchyard (ref New Yard 714). could any look up parish burial records, newspaper entries or just tell me what the KSLI were doing there in WW1 Training? or POW guarding? any help appreciated and willdo the same in shropshire if required.
