I have Thomas Teare, chr. 18 Sept 1791 Andreas Parish, son of John Teare and Joney Radcliffe (spelled Ratcliffe in Parish register). Married Jane Curphey 31 Dec 1814 Andreas Parish. I show children Thomas chr 1816, John chr 1818 and William chr 1822 all chr Andreas Parish and Philip chr. Ramsey 1823. Jane Curphey Teare may have been buried at Lezayre 27 Apr 1829.

I have found a Thomas Teare and wife Ellin in the 1841 Bride Parish census with daughter Ellin age 4 and son Daniel age 1. It appears from IGI that Daniel is son of Thomas Teare and ELLEN JOUGHIN not Ellen Curphey, christened in Bride Parish. The IGI has Ellin as the daughter of Thomas and Ellen Curphey. I was unable to find a marriage for Thomas and Ellen Curphey but did find one for Elinor Joughin 10 FEB 1837 in Maughold Parish.

I wonder if the IGI extracted record for your Ellen should have shown mother Ellen Joughin?
