Kermodes, Braddon Cemetery

I have been working on my application to join the Isle of Man Family History Society and I am having a little trouble interpreting some of the information that I have on family burial plots at Braddon Cemetery. Can someone help me please?

Plot 2957 Ellen KERMODE, of Douglas, age 40, buried 30 Mar 1871, my gg grandmother

John Ball tells me there are not other KERMODEs interred in plot 2957, but in the adjacent plot (2958) are:
Emily KERMODE, of Douglas, age 5 mos, buried 6 Sep 1864
James KERMODE, of Douglas, age 31, buried 3 Mar 1865
James was the brother of my gg grandfather Thomas KERMODE

John also tells me that in plot '2957/2958' [sic] is:
John KERMODE, of Ballabrooie, age 53, buried 14 Aug 1857
I believe this is my ggg grandfather John KERMODE born 1804 Marown. I don’t understand the plot number 2957/2958, does this overlap plot 2957 and plot 2958?

My second question relates to “of Ballabrooie”. Where is this? According to the 1841 census John KERMODE was in Onchan, district 1, Ballakermeen and the 1851 census Onchan, district 3, schedule 87, Balla Kermeen cottage. I assume this is a different spelling of the same place. He died before the 1861 census.
