some early ones are to be found in the wills (both arch + epis) - the museum have some 17 films (recently filmed but possibly also available via Mormons ?) each covering about 5 years the last being 1785 to 1790. In general reported twice a year each parish contributing between 1 and 5 pages buried in which may be what you seek re illegits - why don't you post requests as I looked at one today to gauge possibilities for a future 'The Presentment Show' to appear to ManxNoteBook but nuggets were well dispersed.
