The xd'd thru james may have been the wrong James ! very easy to make error in repeating a name (the IGI is a good example) - it read as if it had been dictated.

The will was undated but James is supposedly buried Lon 1803-04-23 and the swarm of bees was strictly the first swarm of bees which would I suspect have been june - definitely reads like a bachelor's will. My date for his burial is derived from Brian's Index as I havn't checked those post 1793 (end of 1st register) - I'm just about to post my reading of the 1718-1893 burial's reconciled with the wills (of which I have summaries for over 200) - brian's index (as copied some time ago) has an error rate of about 2.5%; in nearly all cases the year is out by 1 or a 9 has gone to a 0 - so it may need checking against the original
