An appeal to any Douglas residents! I know that Clarence Terrace tends to be full of guesthouses, but can anyone remember or do they know where I might be able to find out - who was the owner/resident of York House, 5 Clarence Terrace in 1945. I suspect I must have more relatives on the IOM somewhere and I know that my father stayed at this address in June 1945 on a visit to the Island - but he is long dead and I have no immediate Creer relatives to check with. If this address was a guesthouse then there is nothing more to ask, but if not - was he staying with a relative? Any help/advice welcomed.
