Kelly descendants of Raby & Grenane, Lonan

Nicholas Kelly bn De Trolleby, Marown in 1686 was the only surviving son of Alice Qualtrough (died Forrester Lodge, Ballaugh 1700) & William Kelly of Ballaugh. He had one other surviving sibling, Katherine Kelly who married Henry Cowly.

Nicholas Kelly inherited Raby & Grenane (Lonan) from his uncle William Qualtrough, "QUALTROUGH RABEE" featured in the Manx song "NY KIRREE FO NIAGHTEY", on William's death in 1709.

Nicholas married Mary Harrison (of Ballaglonney) at Malew in 1712 and had 3 sons, William, bn Trolleby Marown 1714, James bn Lonan 1722 & Thomas bn Lonan 1731. There may be others of course.

I would be most interested in making contact with anyone who connects into this family through either Nicholas Kelly & Mary Harrison and their sons or through Katherine Kelly & Henry Cowly if they had any family.

Thank you
Elizabeth
