Re: Kneale family tree
In Response To: Re: Kneale family tree ()

Dear Ann,
Please forgive the delay in replying to you, I have been concentrating on my Paternal Cornish side, and have just found your message re; Kneale Family Tree.
Unfortunately, I cannot throw any light on your KNEALES.
I have been told, when visiting my family on the Isle of Man, though I am Manx by birth, that Kneale was a common name in the north of the island, and when the Steam Railway was built, gradually people from the North, moved further South.
I was also told that my family came from the Ramsey/Jurby/Andreas areas,in the North and that they were Farmers, these areas are still Farm Land, beautiful, Wild, Spacious areas, right on the coast, with the odd little Hamlet with Thatched Cottages, which are Original, and still intact, and occupied, scattered about.
But, up to now, I have not found any family from there as yet.
I have just got back to my GGGrandparents, 1806 and their children.
I wish you lots of luck in your search,
Best Wishes,
Carol Lloyd.( E. Sussex).
